Speaker 1: Juan Robertson from FreightFish

Juan Robertson is Lead Control Engineer at FreightFish, a company building hydrofoil ships for high-speed ocean freight services. Juan discussed how FreightFish works, what they've achieved so far, and what their future looks like.

Anita Frost is a 3D printing specialist and research technician at Dotterel, a company developing noise reduction and audio recording technology for UAVs.

Anita shared more about how Dotterel solves problems using 3D printing, how other companies can too, and her own journey from Kawerau teen artist to technology professional working with one of New Zealand's most interesting hardware companies.

Edwin Hayes is Head of Mechatronics at Rocos, who have developed a platform to help other companies build and manage their robot operations. He shared more about how the Rocos platform works, what their roadmap looks like, and how they’ve developed a partnership with Boston Dynamics. ‘Spot’ also joined us.
